NAMI group members attended the ECR conference 2026

Last month NAMI group memebers attended the 2026 Early Career Researcher (ECR) Conference organised by the Faraday Institution.

The first day featured a range of excellent research talks, including a particularly insightful presentation from Letizia Liirò Peluso on the mechanistic insights of lithium–sulfur battery discharge. Later in the day, I joined an IP and Patent workshop, which broadened my knowledge in this area and highlighted the importance of intellectual property in research and innovation.

On the second day, Celia had the opportunity to present a 10-minute talk alongside fellow NAMI PhD researchers Melissa White and Benjamin Denison during the parallel sessions. Although our research topics are very different, the engagement and discussions were fantastic.

The conference concluded with several fascinating talks, including one on nuclear batteries, which was incredibly interesting to learn about.

A big thank you to the organisers for putting together such a great event!
