NAMI PhD researchers attended and presented at the PGR Symposium 2025

The entire School of Chemistry was convened from Wednesday the 16th to Friday the 18th of July to listen to students in their final years present the results of their research from their time as PhD students. Part of this line up of exceptional students were Simarun Prasad and Haorui Zhang from the NAMI group. Simarun presented her work on the effects of the addition of paramagnetic ions on the enhancement of NMR spectroscopic effects and Haorui presented his work on the effect of additives on the operation of lithium-air batteries.

At the final day of the symposium, the school convened at the CNL’s Winter Garden to view a variety of posters from the many MRes students, and PhD students in their penultimate years. We had a lot of exceptional posters from the NAMI group, presented by Adedayo Dada, Benjamin Denison, Mohammed Almalki, and Nathan Njoku. At the end of the poster session, Banjamin Denison received the prize for the best poster in the Physical and Computation Chemistry department. It was an amazing experience that gave everyone a chance to show the great science that was going on all over the school, while having the opportunity to network with other members of the school.
