PhD researcher Adedayo delivered an engaging talk at the Women in Leadership Conference at Nottingham Girls’ High School
On 15th October, Adedayo delivered an engaging talk at the Women in Leadership Conference hosted by Nottingham Girls’ High School, aimed at inspiring sixth form students with an interest in Chemistry. Drawing on her own experiences, Adedayo outlined her academic journey from sixth form to PhD, highlighting her current research in hydrogen production and her current work as a Business Science Research Associate. She also shared insights into university life, career pathways in science, and the wide range of extracurricular opportunities available to aspiring chemists. The session formed part of the school’s ongoing efforts to showcase diverse routes into STEM and to encourage young women to pursue leadership roles in science and innovation.
