Euan Pitchers

PhD student

Euan graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021 with an Integrated Master's Degree in Chemistry having worked with the NAMI group for his final year project. He then worked in an analytical laboratory for three years extracting and quantifying levels of alkanes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in UK marine sediments, sea water and biota. Now, he is working on a project in collaboration with The Lubrizol Corporation to optimise the Kolbe Electrolysis method for the production of alkanes utilising bio-derived materials.
